ECOTINT (M) Sdn Bhd and its related companies is one of the major window films converter and installer, importer and concept reseller of Window Film products for automotive and building industries since 2000. Right from its inception, ECOTINT had set out to establish itself as the Branded Window Film with its trademark tagline 'Your Smarter Window Film'. It started its very first window tinting workshop in Taipan Business Centre, USJ Subang Jaya, and Selangor, Malaysia and had since franchised out its concept and operations in Klang Valley, Seremban and Melaka.

Founded in June 2000, The Company introduced a new concept in glass tinting under the brand name of ECOTINT. ECOTINT is an innovative concept of introducing a series of high performance films, selected from the various world renowned manufacturers. The Company works with these manufacturers to offer (and at times modify the specifications of the films) window lamination films best suited to the Malaysian climate and JPJ regulations.

ECOTINT achieved a series of the 'First':

• First Fully Air-Conditioned Installation Showroom
• First to introduce a comprehensive range of high quality films under one Flagship Brand ECOTINT
• First to implement One-Price-Policy for all normal saloon cars
• First to using production system to install films at car manufacturing factory like Proton, Hyundai, Ford.
• First to obtain the ISO 9001:2000 certification in Malaysia for its installation, delivery and service (in addition to its product certification)
• First to admit as the Malaysian Member of International Window Film Association (IWFA), USA & ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).
• First to be the undisputed Tinting Superbrand (3 consecutive years) in Malaysia

The first ECOTINT Shoppe is situated in Taipan USJ, Subang Jaya and todate, there are 8 Ecotint Shoppes in Klang Valley, Seremban, Melaka and a strong network of Ecotint dealers nationwide.

With our experience, technical expertise, financial strength and close working relationship with our overseas Principals, ECOTINT has widely accepted as the Smarter Window Film. ECOTNT had attracted much attention of the media in the business of automotive accessories fitment and much publicity has been given to it. ECOTINT teams of specialist applicators are seasoned applicators with vast experience with all marquees and models of automotives.

ECOTINT, through its joint venture company, Wirajaya Tuah Dagang Sdn Bhd, was appointed as approved vendor of Proton to supply and install its window films onto Proton cars on an OEM basis. This approval was only obtained after extensive testing and evaluation by the R&D Department of Proton. As at 31st December 2004, ECOTINT has installed in excess of 78,000 vehicles in Malaysia since its inception, with approximately 65% of this on OEM basis. With its strong network and the large pool of well-trained installers, ECOTINT is probably now the largest direct tinting company in Malaysia.

Prior to the formation of The Company in the year 2000, the senior directors of ECOTINT has been a distributor of 3M Scotchtint & Scotchshield. Hence through t his relationship, in 2001, The Company has selectively carried branded building films such as 3M for specific projects and high end residential installation. Amongst the high profile jobs undertaken by The Company (and through its associates) are Australian Embassy (KL),US Embassy (KL), Garden International School (KL), OCBC Bank (Singapore) and UOB Bank (Jakarta). The Company also carries its own range of building films for retail and wholesale customers.

ECOTINT with its commitment to service excellent, delivery timeliness and product superiority had been awarded the status of Superbrands - Malaysia 2003/2004/20005. As a relative young and small company, this Superbrands Award shows the market recognition and acceptance of ECOTINT as a household brand in Malaysia. ECOTINT is thus the first Malaysian tint company to be awarded Superbrands status.

In the last quarter of 2004, The Company, through careful market study & research, has formed a joint venture company in Bangkok, Thailand. This joint venture company in Bangkok, Is the second branches that ECOTINT have in oversea after Singapore which incorporated since 2003.

As part of the continual international improvement program (CIIP) and quality assurance for its customers, The Company has achieved its ISO 9001:2000 certification in April 2005 for its installation process, delivery and service quality.
